I need to preserve what little faith in humanity I have left :) Though reading some of those comments makes me think that perhaps a stupidfree_snark community is in order! Hell, there probably already is one.

Kind of. There's an off topic community, which is where they've started dragging most of the meta posts (along with all sorts of things like "Hey; what's your favourite band?"); however, they still do get posted to the community itself from time to time.

Admittedly, I tend not to read the actual entries being snarked; I read the entry on my friends list, the comments to it, and then move on. LJ already eats too much of my life. :P. (There's a reason I don't have a facebook... Or a MySpace.)
